Messaging

Every message is encrypted on your device before sending. Only you and the recipient can read it — the server only ever sees ciphertext.

Sending

• Enter sends, Shift + Enter adds a new line
• 30 messages per minute per user to stop spam

Attachments

Send images and videos (up to about 5MB) from the attachment button in the chat input. Attachments expire after 12 hours and are then permanently deleted. Stamps and profile pictures do not expire.

Stamps

Make your own stamps from images and save ones friends send you. Your stamp library is available from the chat input.

Clips

Right-click (or long-press) a message and clip it to save or reference it later in the chat.

Deleting messages

Right-click (or long-press) your own message and delete it. Deletion is permanent. Messages are also automatically cleared 90 days after being sent.

Read receipts

There are none, on purpose. Nobody can see whether you read their message.
